School rules help create a respectful, safe, and positive environment where every child feels valued and supported. These simple guidelines help students understand their personal responsibilities and build lifelong habits of self-discipline.

We encourage parents to review these guidelines with their children so that school expectations feel clear, natural, and comfortable from day one.

Attendance & Punctuality

Punctuality lays the foundation for disciplined learning. Arriving on time allows children to settle in calmly before morning assembly and lessons begin.

  • Arrive at campus before morning assembly bell
  • Submit written leave applications signed by parents for planned absences
  • Maintain regular attendance for consistent academic progress

Respect & Courtesy

A friendly school culture grows when children treat everyone with kindness. We encourage polite speech, active listening, and helpfulness.

  • Greet teachers, school staff, classmates, and visitors politely
  • Use respectful language during classroom discussions and play
  • Support classmates who need help or guidance

Uniform & Neatness

Wearing the prescribed uniform fosters pride in belonging to the school community and creates a sense of equality among all students.

  • Wear clean, well-ironed official school uniform on regular days
  • Wear designated sports/house uniform on physical activity days
  • Keep hair neat and wear appropriate footwear

Classroom Conduct

Classrooms are spaces of shared learning. Students are expected to help maintain an atmosphere where everyone can listen and learn without disruption.

  • Listen attentively when teachers or classmates are speaking
  • Raise hands to ask questions or share thoughts
  • Complete assigned classwork and homework diligently

Care of School Property

Our campus facilities belong to the entire school family. Caring for desks, library books, and green lawns teaches environmental responsibility.

  • Handle library books, lab equipment, and furniture carefully
  • Dispose of litter in designated trash bins around campus
  • Turn off taps and classroom lights when leaving rooms

Electronics & Devices

To maintain a distraction-free learning environment, personal electronic gadgets are regulated during standard school hours.

  • Personal mobile phones are restricted during school hours
  • School office phones remain accessible for urgent student-parent contact
  • Digital learning devices are used strictly under teacher supervision

Zero Tolerance for Bullying

Every student has the right to learn without fear of teasing, exclusion, or unkind behaviour. Bullying, physical aggression, or hurtful speech is strictly not accepted at K.L International School.

  • Teachers and class coordinators maintain an open-door policy for student concerns
  • Any reported issue is addressed promptly with guidance and counseling
  • Students are encouraged to stand up for peers and report any unkind incidents

"Good behaviour is not only about following rules. It is about learning to be responsible, respectful and considerate towards others."
